The DIN EN ISO 9001 sets out guidelines for how service providers should organize their processes and operations to achieve the highest possible level of service quality and work efficiency. This is accomplished by developing a Quality Management System (QMS) that adheres to these requirements.
Such a QMS defines the goals of the work, the methods by which these goals should be achieved, and the rules for monitoring the agreed standards.
An external certification body audits the QMS. If the QMS meets the requirements, the audit body issues a certificate. The service provider is then certified according to ISO 9001. In medical practices, working according to a QMS is not yet standard.
The number of certified medical practices remains small. However, the ISO certificate will become an important and demanded proof of quality for patients in the future. For our practice, working under a Quality Management System means that all processes and procedures are designed so that you, as a patient, can be assured of receiving the best possible treatment, both medically and technologically up to date.
The practice of Dr. med. Anna Ledermann follows a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
In July 2009, the practice was certified by the certification body NET-Cert e.V.
